About Maklada
The name
Maklada comes from the Afrikaans "maak klaar, da!": finish it, it's done. It rhymes with "ta-da". The full stop at the end of our name means done. We never put anything after it.

The story
Small businesses in South Africa usually get two choices. Rent a website for a monthly fee and never own it. Or pay once for a few template pages.
We do it differently. We build your whole website before you ask: every page, your real content, an AI assistant that knows your business. You see it first. If you like it, you pay once and it's yours. If you don't, we delete it.
We're based in Pretoria and build for businesses all over South Africa.
